Industry Visit by EEE-3rd semester students

Under the auspices of Pujya Swamiji and with the support of our esteemed Principal & Dr. M J Chandrashekar, Professor & Head, Dept. of EEE, the third semester students of Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) had a one-day educational trip to M/s. Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) in Nelamangala, specifically focusing on the receiving substation in Bengaluru.

The students had firsthand experience and practical insights into Transmission & Distribution systems including operational mechanisms of power transformers, observed the functioning of the SCADA unit, studied insulators and conductors, and gained an understanding of the safety protocols and industry standards essential for the erection, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment within a substation.

The students thank the Management, Principal, HOD, Teaching and Non-teaching staffs for making arrangement and industry visit a grand success.
