Electrical and Electronics Engineering department being one of core department of SJBIT was established in the year 2004 with 60 intakes for UG and lead by Dr. Chandrashekar M J. The department is strengthened with qualified and dedicated Professors, Associate and Assistant professors, further corroborated by abled technical staff.
The breadth and depth of the subject’s knowledge and research interests of the academic staff ensures a high standard of lecture courses and provides excellent opportunities for challenging and stimulating thinking of students. Departments have a state of art research lab, well equipped Laboratories for practical exposure to students. Individual faculty deliver lectures through ICT platform like Apple/iOS, video projections, keynotes, activity and project-based learning process. Continuous evaluation happens through online evaluation and interaction platform like Edmodo.
