Industry Interaction Initiatives
Electronics and communication department was established in the institution during 2001.The department is AICTE approved and permanently affiliated to VTU. The Department offers UG & PG courses. Further, it is recognized as “Research Center” by VTU.
The department is strengthened with qualified Doctorates, Professors, Assoc. Professors, Asst. professors and technical staffs. Apart from the academics events Department also oversees the overall development activities. The students were being provided state of the art lab facilities; training / certification programs, industrial visits, periodic technical talks, workshops, conferences, empowering employability skills.
The department is associated with many industries like Bosch Rexroth, Intel, National Instruments and University of Agriculture Sciences etc., with vibrant objectives providing Industrial oriented training on PLC, Sensorics, Drives and Control, Lab View, IOT, Embedded Systems, Data Analytics Network.
To have completeness in imparting education and knowledge to students the companies that the Department is tied up with have always played a key role. Be it in terms of updating latest technologies be it hands-on or making students grab the concept of current technical market trend.

Department has undergone MOU with various companies, through which corporate training on various laboratories are conducted to meet industry expectations.
