Industrial visit to the 220/66 kV, Somanahalli Sub-station, KPTCL, Bengaluru for 4th semester students

With the blessings of revered Poojya Swamiji and the unwavering support of our esteemed Principal, the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering orchestrated an enlightening industrial excursion to the 220/66 kV, Somanahalli Sub-station, KPTCL, Bengaluru for 4th semester students on May 22nd,2024. This excursion was meticulously crafted to furnish students with firsthand exposure to the practical intricacies of electrical substations, thereby augmenting their comprehension of power distribution systems.

During the visit, students were learned the operational dynamics, maintenance protocols, and technological nuances of electrical substations.  Many students expressed a heightened interest in pursuing careers within the realm of power systems and electrical engineering. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the management, Principal, HOD, and all faculty and staff members whose concerted efforts were instrumental in orchestrating and executing this enriching excursion.
