FDP on “Applications of Machine Learning in Civil Engineering” from 27th January to 01st February 2025.

The Department of Civil Engineering organized a one-week Faculty Development Program titled “Applications of Machine Learning in Civil Engineering” from 27^th Jan – 1^st Feb 2025 in Civil Engineering Block. The FDP was inaugurated by Dr. Puttaraju, Academic Director, BGS & SJB Group of Institutions and Dr. Babu N V, Dean Academics, SJBIT Bengaluru, along with Resource Person Dr. Jayaram M A, Consultant Professor, RASTA Bengaluru and Dr. Prasad CSMV, Professor & Head, Dept of Civil Engg., SJBIT.

Dr. Prasad CSMV welcomed the dignitaries, followed by introducing Dr. Jayaram M A, who delivered the talk on the Application of IT tools in Core Engineering branches, highlighting applications of AI Technology in Civil Engineering. Dr. Puttaraju, the Academic Director, gave the presidential address regarding enriching knowledge in Interdisciplinary courses. The inaugural programme concluded with a vote of thanks from Dr. Sridhar, Professor, Dept. of Civil Engineering.
