Towards Research -Driven Learning: Insight from JIT

The EEE Department of SJBIT visited the Centre for Incubation, Innovation, Research and Consultancy (CIIRC®) at Jyothy Institute of Technology (JIT) on 30th May 2025 to explore possibilities for initiating R&D activities and establishing an incubation center at SJBIT. The team was warmly received by Dr. Krishna Venkatesh, along with Dr. Mohan and Dr. Anantha Prasad, who provided valuable insights into CIIRC’s multidisciplinary Centres of Excellence and industry collaborations. Facilities such as the CoEs in IoT, and PCB Design offered a deeper understanding of integrated R&D and incubation models. This visit served as a motivating step toward building similar ecosystems at SJBIT. Sincere thanks to the Management, Academic Director, and Principal for their continued support in enabling such forward-looking academic initiatives.
