Guest Lecture on Basic and Best O&M Practices for HT< Transformers and Switchgears on 13-11-2025
Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized a Guest Lecture on 13-11-2025 from9:00 am to 10:30am about the topic ” Basic and Best O&M Practices for HT< Transformers and Switchgears” with a Resource person Mr. G. Sivaraj, Retd. Consultant Engineer, M/s Subhash Kabini Power Corporation Limited, Bengaluru. The resource person gives a very good insight into the operation and maintenance of transformers and switchgears ,effect of acidity level in the transformer oil and checking the pressure in oil using MOG. He also explained about the separate safety and earthing proceduces involved in LT and HT. He also explained about the LOTO procedure to maintain switchgears. He also told about the importance of Electrical Engineers in the industry.
