FDP on “Integrated Automation Technologies- A Practical Approach” from 30th June to 4th July 2025.
With the blessings of Pujya Swamiji and the esteemed support of the Academic Director, Principal, and Heads of the Department, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communion Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering jointly organized Five -Day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “INTEGRATED AUTOMATION TECHNOLOGIES- A PRACTICAL APPROACH” between 30th June to 4th July 2025.
Day1
The first session was led by Mr. Venkata Subba Rao, Senior Manager, Rexroth Bosch, Bengaluru, who covered key foundational topics in Automation Technology.
The second session focused on the Hydraulic System in Automation Technology, with hands-on training by Mr. Shankara D R and Mr. Gowtham K, Trainers at CETRAT.
Participants actively engaged in circuit-building exercises using electro-hydraulic systems.
Day 2
The first session continued with hands-on hydraulic systems training by Mr. Shankara D R and Mr. Gowtham K.
Mr. Santosh, Manager – Academic Sales, Wipro 3D, explained the integration of advanced hydraulics in modern automation.
The second session was led by Mr. Shyam Prasad, Saatvik Solutions, who introduced innovative solutions for manufacturing industries, focusing on:
1)Machine Vision for Inspection Automation
2)Automation for Production Efficiency Monitoring
3)The session continued with Mr. Uday and Mr. Thirumala, who conducted hands-on training on pneumatic systems in automation.
Day 3
The day began with a session on Sensorics in Automation, handled by Dr. Supreeth H S G and Mrs. Anushree. Participants gained practical experience using various sensors.
The second session covered Drives & Control in Automation, conducted by Mr. Dwarakanath S K and Mr. Vijay Kumar, involving hands-on circuit-building exercises integrating sensors, drives, and control systems.
Day 4
The day started with a session on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), conducted by Dr. Chethana, CETRAT Trainer, with extensive hands-on exposure.
The valedictory session followed, where participants shared feedback and received certificates from the HoDs of ME, ECE, and EEE department
Day 5
The final day featured an industrial visit to KMF, Bengaluru Dairy, providing real-time exposure to automation in the dairy sector.
Participants witnessed the live integration of automation technologies, gaining valuable insights through interactive demonstrations and practical observation.
The five-day FDP provided immersive training in hydraulics, pneumatics, sensors, drives, PLCs, and real-time industrial applications, enriching the technical skills of faculty across departments.
