Field/exposure visit to the Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Rural Energy and Development (MGIRED)on 4th April 2025 as a part of IIC activity.

With the blessings of Pujya Swamiji, the guidance of our esteemed Academic Director, the support of our respected Principal and HOD, we are delighted to share that the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering successfully organized a Field/Industrial Visit to Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Rural Energy Development (MGIRED), Jakkur, Bengaluru as part of the IIC-SJBIT activity for 4th-semester students on April 4, 2025.

This visit provided students with invaluable insights into sustainable energy practices, covering key areas such as power generation through renewable resources, solar energy rooftop installation procedures and regulations, solid waste management, and rainwater harvesting. The exposure inspired students to actively engage with rural challenges, encouraging them to develop mini-projects and renewable energy initiatives. These hands-on experiences not only strengthened their technical knowledge but also nurtured a deeper commitment to sustainable development.
