Alumni Talk on the topic “Bridging the Gap Between Academia and Industry” on 6th November 2025

Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized an Alumni Talk on the topic “Bridging the Gap Between Academia and Industry”  on 06th November 2025 delivered by Ms. Akshatha Singh V H (1JB19EE002) working as a System Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), who shared valuable insights into the transition from academic learning to professional life. She emphasized that while academics provide a strong theoretical foundation, industry expectations extend to practical competencies such as problem-solving, teamwork, communication, adaptability, and continuous learning.

The importance of internships, industry-oriented projects, certifications, and exposure to real-world tools and technologies was highlighted to enhance employability. The talk motivated students to align their academic pursuits with industry needs, stay updated with emerging trends, and develop professionalism to become competent and job-ready engineers.
