Institute organizes alumni meet frequently which is a great opportunity for both alumni and alma mater to bring back the wave of nostalgia. Alumni Meet provides an arena for the alumni to enjoy their day out of their hustle and bustle of lives, Alumni also have the opportunity to interact with students. The alumni meet aims to foster a sense of community among alumni, while supporting a sense of connectedness back to the institution feeling.
Alumni Meet 2022
Alumni meet 2022 was a extravagant event organized by the institute. It was a long pending event since 2020 amidst this pandemic. All our alumni were on tip toes to coordinate and participate in the meet. We wanted to keep it big so many interactive and entertainment sessions were well scheduled.
Firstly, to honour our alumni, we initiated a self-nomination for the Distinguished Alumni Awards. Nominations were collected from alumni through SJBIT website provisioning them to declare their contribution to society and college. Selection was done by jury members consisting of Principal and HODs of all departments. The distinguished alumni were awarded on stage on the day of event.
