Faculty Development Program on Generative AI with LLM and R-Programming.

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, in collaboration with M/s Avinya Techknows, conducted a five-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and R Programming from 28th July to 1st August 2025. With over 60 participants from various institutions, the program focused on enhancing understanding and practical skills in these key areas. The sessions covered the distinctions among AI, ML, DL, and Generative AI; prompt engineering; ethical considerations; domain-specific applications; and hands-on experience with creative AI tools and R Programming. Participants gained a solid grasp of Generative AI concepts, practical applications, and collaborative opportunities for research and project development.
