All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). New Delhi implements Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS) for the students of UTs of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, who intends to study in the institutions outside the UTs. This committee is constituted to enable the youth of Jammu & Kashmir to become scholarly and to enhance job opportunities and formulate job plans involving public and private sectors.
Objectives:
- To facilitate quality education with an aim to equip youth with knowledge and skill sets.
- To impart training to take up higher education and offer them good job opportunities.
